I have seen a version of this flying around here and there for the past few years and I thought I’d throw my own favorite version of raw vegan banana cereal out there. This stuff is dynamite! Whether you are a cereal lover or not this is a must try because it delivers in all the right ways. It’s sweet, it’s crunchy, and it keeps you full until lunch. Not to mention it’s super healthy and low in calories! You just can’t go wrong… can you tell I am excited about this one?!?! LOL… it’s my true food love.

The thing is that you can make this is in a number of ways and it will be delicious in every single version you come up with. Add in the things you love and discard the stuff you don’t. Honestly you can stick with simple sliced bananas and banana milk or you can go crazy and add your favorite grains into the mix. It’s really up to your own taste buds. I’ve included my favorite version here for inspiration.

Serves 1:

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 tbsp goji berries
  • 1 tbsp crushed walnuts or almonds
  • 1 tbsp dried fruit (think cherries, raisins, currants…)
  • 1 tsp cacao nibs

Slice 1 and a half bananas into thin slices and throw them into a bowl. Top with the goji berries, other dried fruit, cacao nibs, and nuts then put the left over half a banana into the blender with about ½ cup of water. Blend and add water until the “milk” is a consistency you like. Pour the banana “milk” over the cereal and have at it! You won’t be able to put this down…
