I was doing research for a ghostwriting project I’m doing about Women serial killers today, and I have to say that there are some pretty wild women that have lived on this planet! It seems that many of the particularly nasty stories come from the 1800s and early 1900s… I wonder why? To tell you the truth, I don’t wonder too much.
I’m ready to get this project over with! I have a feeling that I won’t sleep very well until then. So here’s to hoping that it will be done by the end of the week. Wish me luck! I don’t think I’ll be accepting any crime based projects again anytime soon. Because I spent so much time reading and researching today to get ready for a day of writing tomorrow, I didn’t have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen.
What I DID have was a bunch of ripe bananas, a pineapple, and some other goodies that made perfect Hawaiian Dream tropical smoothies for breakfast and lunch. Followed by a nice salad for dinner, today was a tasty and light day! But all the fruit gave me so much energy that I had to head out for a walk twice. I’m not complaining though
Anyhow, the smoothies were so sweet and satisfying that I’m craving one for dessert! Sadly, the pineapple’s all gone so I’ll just have to dream about it tonight. Or better yet, I think I’ll just head out for more pineapple tomorrow. Here’s the recipe in case you want to enjoy one too:
Hawaiian Dream Tropical Smoothie
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
A sweet smoothie with a tangy kick!
- 2 bananas
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 1 cup tangerine or orange juice (I juiced tangerines fresh!)
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 medium cucumber, peeled and cut into small chunks
- 1 cup water
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Just put everything in your blender and blend baby blend!
Everything should be thick and super creamy when it’s ready to drink.
